Not surprisingly, I haven’t always been as diligent in my application of this holy commandment as I would like. But in general, I take an attitude of “I’ll say what I think, and if others don’t like it, that’s their problem.”
I still hold that belief, even stronger now than ever, but I am astounded at the way others around me do not seem to comprehend the concept – those who want to tell me what I can and cannot say.

Immigrants to our land who wish to become citizens are tested on “democratic values”. Amongst these is the concept of free speech which – according to the official guidelines for the test they have to undertake – specifies that an individual’s speech is protected if what they are saying is true and does not breach national security.

Yet this freedom which we are testing newly arrived potential citizens on is a myth, a lie.

I exist purely here, on this site. I do not exist elsewhere. Not today anyway. I may exist elsewhere in the future. Or I may stay entirely imaginary. Such is the nature of Cyberia, where I live.

I will come here often, and write of topics that amuse or interest me. If they interest or amuse you too, then well and good. If they don’t, that is of no concern.

One is absolute rubbish, and the other is – you guessed it – absolute rubbish. They don’t even contain links. What is it with spammers these days? Have they just given up trying? Very disappointing!
